Cyberpunk edgerunners issue

My main issue with the series is the escalation. Usually, when a series escalates, there is an external pressure. Be it money or just someone wanting the MC dead, but in case of this show, most of escalation felt unearned. These people didn't feel like they were struggling for money. There was no reason for them to keep pushing themselves to the extreme they did end up going. (With a singular exception of Lucy. She had a reason to go the deep end. But David definitelly didn't feel like he had a reason to ruin his life further throughout most of the show.)

Did I miss something?

Just finished edgerunners

Waifus: Great
Story: Great
Animation: Weird
But it's so fucking depressing. Seriously dangerous to watch alone :D

If I hear one more boomer say to me "have you tried using google", or any other variation of "that info is on the internet", I might actually go total boomer death.

If the inflation keeps going like this, Alex jones might live to pay off his fines.

@Aether I remember being asked a similar question as part of a group interview for a third-world, overseas, charity, resume filler program before I was red pilled. You're supposed to pick the pregnant women and more vulnerable characters to demonstrate empathy. I autisticly chose every character based on their utilitarian value the mission and civilization as a whole. I was very persuasive and convinced the whole group to go along with my choices.

After the interview I get an angry call from interviewer about how because of me the whole rest of the group needed to have a second interview. Needless to say I didn't get to build hospitals for niggers.

Day 3 of semi-serious fasting
I do not exactly feel hungry, but for some weird reason, I've spent half of my day watching cooking videos, ordered a spare part for broken mixer, bought a peeler, wetstone, sharpened my knife and cleaned the dishes. :MonkaThink:

What a weird set of events.
