>>> People assumed, that kids that grow up with computers would be good at using them, but what we didn't realize, is that kids grow ip with phones so smart, that.....

Let me stop you right there Asmongold. I know, you missed the point of your own argument, but here it is:

Phones are not computers. They do use the same hardware, but the OS of phones is designed specifically for the goal of hiding literally the entire file system. So, if you do not know, that there are any other elements then APP icons and your photos, how do you possibly expect these kids to learn anything from a phone?

Most phones don't even have accessable text editor ffs.

Hey, I was just shopping for graduation gifts for the foreign student in my life!

Tried watching Vaush to find out his cope...

He said, that affirmative action has nothing to do with Race quotas, and that DEI is a right wing dogwhistle.

I really didn't expect that level of reality denial.

Everyone is afraid of Google or Meta training AI on your data...

I don't even know why, but somehow, I am 10 times more afraid of Amazon training on AWS.

Random memory from the university

Why is this memory important?
Because it might be the first (and only) time I can remember, where I seriously turned to code to make the computer serve me in a way, that required a purpose build code.

Oh no... I am entering the random pain phase of life already...

Random memory from the university

We had cybersecurity classes with test at the begining of every class.

This test had to be performed on a remote VM. But, we barely had about 5 minutes to complete all tasks. (the teacher was kinda insane)

So, in order to save time, I have literally created a script that turned on the Putty with MY PASSWORD in the code, that did set up everything needed to connect to the VM with a single click.

Did it trade my security for ducking 40s long logging process? Yes. But with time limits that extreme, it seriously gave me an edge over others ;D

Why is it, that every single time I hear someone talking about dog-whisteling, it's the oposition hearing message that isn't there, instead of supporters hearing it?

Doesn't that mean, that every discussed case of it is by definition not a dog-whistle?
