@druid yeah i feel the same, the topics are all interesting and sometimes thought provoking on their own, and his telling is engaging, but for some reason he just HAS to inject his own false depth to things, some of its really like "im14andthisisdeep" stuff even, like. why? with the jersey devil example, sure it may not exist, but he cant definitively say it doesnt, and its like he doesnt realise the interest is the hearing about it all, not hearing some conclusion some random person has drawn about it, especially such a BORING one

So the real way to fight back against corporations pandering to China is to take a page out of China's playbook and pirate the shit out of their stuff. Forget actual sacrifices with traditional boycotts, just pirate Blizzard games, NBA streams, Hollywood movies, etc. and do so with a clear conscience, because you're doing it for human rights.

People always like to argue about which system of government would be better- we're a Republic, we need democracy, we should go back to a type of monarchy etc etc.

Truth is- it doesn't matter which system we're in as long as the media & education are controlled by people who hate you.

Media & education absolutely effect a societies ideals. It effects what they believe in, it effects what they know. It determines a culture. Culture decides politics.

It's no wonder our political parties are such a shit show. It's no wonder that not one side- whether it be right, left or in the middle gives one single fuck about white middle class Americans.

So "written testimony" is not acceptable, Trump has constitutional right to face and cross examine the whistleblower(s) in person.

Did anyone ever see a judge convict someone based on 3rd part hearsay testimony? Case is thrown out of court, same must happen with impeachment proceedings.
