@alyx kaniini is trying to manufacture panic to gain support to implement some bullshit into the protocol. It comes across as disingenuous and self-serving.
The OCAP idea is stupid and doesn't meaningfully improve security. I've never seen anyone other than kaniini suggest that OCAP does otherwise. Even people directly working on ways to add security mechanisms like authorized fetching don't seem to care.
