@LukeAlmighty A symptom of a bigger problem - people that have no business being in the position they're in wrote it. They probably have no practical experience managing a crises, so they pull out butterflies and unicorns in hopes that it will fix the problem. @coolboymew

Spoilers for Picard

I cannot believe they made an entire series about immigrants not respecting the cultire, infiltrating government and fighting against technological progress through terrorism.

Next: Most of main characters did commit unbelievable crimes, but I seriously did not expect them showing mass slavery of thousands of people as a good solution to save 3 people. (Seven of nine reactivated and took control of entire borg cube)

And now, my favorite murderer:
I get it. When you think that a certain person could cause an extincion event of any kind, it might actually be a good thing to throw away morality for a few seconds to stop that event. As did one character. Except, this girl immediately changed her mind the moment, when she realized, that the person she was supposed to kill..........was sexy.

I have no idea how they managed to write and film a scene like that, but holywood morality is clear. Causing an extinction event is bad.... unless you're sexy.

It is full of moments like that, but I have no idea, how can they trump that amazing scene. But I am sure they will soon enough.

I seriously do love Star trek picard.
It is a new kind of cringe. One, that I have not been expecting. If you want star trek, then you will hate it, but if you want to see a dumbsterfire of a mixed-messaging, you're gonna love it.
