I don't know if it could be called a trigger but seeing shots from the Kennedy death scene - even those where he's still smiling and alive - make me feel really unpleasant. And I say this as a sporadic past watcher of /r/watchpeopledie. (still miss that one... fucking jannies)
There's something about the event - the general chaos that occured during the shooting, the fatal bullet impact frames, his wife desperately trying to put his brains together in pure shock and panic... it's a bit too much. Plus, from what I heard, Kennedy was a good president and ultimately a nice guy. He didn't deserve it. Almost no one does.

Alright everyone. As you might have guessed from my (lack of) activity, I'm not getting much fun out of using fedi anymore. I want to shut down GNU/Smug, as it's kind of expensive and I don't care enough to justify its cost anymore. Fedi is also a very different place now then when I first opened this instance. Free speech and lolis are everywhere now, while back then only two instances wouldn't ban you for saying nigger (SPC and SLC), while today there's a sea of instances where you can post ​ without problems.
