I am quite sad about the entire COVID problem.

It seems, that the ultra-rich had forgotten, that they can only be rich as long as they are people below them...

Their recent actions will only lead to de-population and collapse. I know that is what they think they want, but you cannot get a yacht, when there's none left to build it...

@denza252 @alex @djsumdog seems reasonable enough that banker would know each other, and be willing to do favors.

you really think reddit and discord are down for the reasons they gave? that at least i don't buy for a second

Stock market is a ridiculous concept to begin with. People are buying/selling companies not based on their earning, but reputation.

That changes an economically-sufficient cell into effectively a trading card.

And all of that, so owner can grow the company faster, while forever giving up his right for company's profit. :alexjonesheadscratch:

I mean, I basically don't see how this strategy doesn't spread. Look at any dying company, invest heavily, watch as the hedgies freak out.

Even now I bet some are hammering a short position on GameStop thinking "it must come down". What if everyone just holds/keeps buying for a year? How many would get sucked in and blown up by their own greed?

Fuck "fundamentals". The stock market has been detached from the actual economy for a long time now. Memes are just as good of a reason to invest as whatever some dipshit is saying their projections for Q3 are.
