@stux @LukeAlmighty the biggest problem with being "respectful" is it's a vague and subjective term. Anything can be disrespectful. Is criticising someone's religion disrespectful when that same religion is by its nature disrespectful to the person in question? Is refusing to use someone's preferred pronouns disrespectful? Is swearing casually at no one in particular automatically disrespectful to anyone that hears/sees it? Where is the line?

Freedom of speech rarely fits into a code even if discussed in "polite terms" - Youtube's terms of service now forbids suggesting the US election was fraudulent. Criticising your government, it seems, is irredeemably "disrespectful" too.
