Metroid Fusion was one of my first gaming experiences and holds a special place in my heart for that. And while I was hoping for years for a new entry, I don't feel too thrilled about Dread. I think it's just the basic 3D style, which looks eerily similar to Samus Returns on the 3DS. Would've a new pixel-style entry been really that unpopular?

Fun fact: It was already hinted 14 years ago in a terminal log in Metroid Prime 3: "Experiment status report update: Metroid project "Dread" is nearing the final stages of completion."

Also, some recent info: "The general concept of Dread, in which Samus was chased by an overwhelming enemy that she could not defeat, had not changed over the 15 years. While the game places an emphasis on "fear-based gameplay", it is not intended to make Dread a horror game and the E.M.M.I. will not be present everywhere. The story will be important to Dread, but not intrusive, making use of occasional cutscenes similar to Samus Returns."

Women literally only hear what they want to hear no matter what you say.
And they will still keep believing whatever they said to themselves ( what they told themselves they heard ) no matter how many times you correct the record.
Personally, I found that behavior both annoying and frustrating.
