This inherent need of trust in a larger and more organised society is also the reason why everything is going haywire in burgerland at the moment. When the trust is lost, you cannot communicate anything to the larger population from the top. In a misguided attempt to keep information focused, more and more drastic measures of control are implemented, eroding that same broken trust even further.
