YEAH YOU KNOW WHY? Because they wouldn't let adopters in their fucking doors! Backyard breeding went rampant during the pandemic because shelters weren't letting potential adopters in to look at their animals, you had to look at a photo online and be like 'yes I want this dog I've never met'. At that point people would prefer to use their money on a puppy.
