@brad @kumicota That's a victim of users being stupid. As someone who works in an IT department and has delivered hundreds of ThinkPads at this point. Someone being angry and going "Why does this laptop only have this weird old connector instead of something modern like HDMI" while pointing at DP happens at least monthly.

If stuff like the TVs people had at home used DP rather than HDMI maybe people would actually realize it's a good connector. But they think it's some old crap connector because it's not compatible with the VGA and HDMI monitor they have at home, or the TV in their living room.

followed by me trying to figure out the least mean way of saying "It's not the laptop that's shit, it's your monitor at home that's shit"

@LukeAlmighty @EyelessMC The sex of the author is unknown ( there is also the theory there more than one author ), but certainly the author ( or at least one of them ) has to be definitively a female. No men has that much knowledge on female nature to represent so accurately how female insecurity rolls out ( no to mention female masochism ) in a relationship.
