Landlord just did inspection of damage in bathroom ceiling from my retard upstairs neighbors, my apartment was hella clean (stayed up till 4am deep cleaning), he was super happy and we're all good. Whew (I get extra paranoid dealing with the property management company and the landlord). This is a weight off my shoulders.

Oh great, horrors beyond my comprehension. They want us all having heart attacks in our 40s.

@charliebrownau @LukeAlmighty that's what I'm saying though, I would be willing to compromise on that because it would objectively make our country better than spending billions of dollars on Ukraine and gender programs in the middle east.

@WashedOutGundamPilot ive never understood what compelled boomers to hand over internet to their kids, guess they just have no idea what it is, what kids watch, or that its full of porn. probably they know and just dont care.

not sure how this will be resolved either.
not seeing a porn block or child ban any time soon.

parental controls are a thing but seems hard to convince boomers why and how.

i've been seeing some parental control monthly subscription services pop up and sounds like something a lead head would drool over.

but the only thing i see the oligarchy allowing is some more dystopian ID verification

@JKDFII @WashedOutGundamPilot The idea of looking in to anything ahead of time is alien to these people. Or even watching something with their kid. “I AINT GOT TIME FO’ DAT, IMMA FULL TIME blahblahblah.”

@WashedOutGundamPilot The idea of giving your young child an internet connected device was always insane to me.

I would lock down my wi-fi and load their tablet up with offline stuff to watch/play. or to be safe just toss them an old gameboy/DS.

I've seen shit parents practically write whole ass manifestos on facebook about how shocked and disturbed they are that the internet isn't a safe 24/7 daycare, but also get offended when somebody suggests they should get into the habit of taking a few minutes to google some parental controls.

I have a family member who always ignored everyone’s advice on actually parenting her kids, always chose to be their friends and the ‘cool mom’ instead, and now she’s desperately clawing to backpedal since the girls are whores, and the boys are increasingly looking like tweakers.

It’s not unforeseen at least.
