It's intentional. They can decide what right wingers think by simply selectively promoting certain theories and the most ridiculous people. Whenever there is something that is actually dangerous and true, it is either completely ignored and buried, or it's distorted and misrepresented. The media tells regular people what to think, and it tells dissidents what they should think as well by portraying the counternarrative they want.

It's why it's bad to be a contrarian, you're just playing into their scheme.

There is a term for these stupid ideas: dead end memes. Something like the moon landing being fake for example, even though it could be true, is a dead end meme that doesn't lead us anywhere. It's not possible to prove, it makes you look crazy in the stereotypical conspiracy way they want to portray you as, it doesn't lead to any useful profound insight, and it doesn't create any compelling important narrative either.

Microchips inside the vaccine is a dead end meme because it just sounds unhinged and it doesn't even touch on any actual problems with the vaccine, which are obvious and visible. There's no need for microchip talk when people are getting blood clots.
They promote people who say these things, and then some of us fall for it and rally behind them unfortunately, just to show up the media, because anything they attack must be true, right?

I always ask myself if something is a dead-end meme or not.

This is a fucking phone comercial from china.
I feel so embarassed about our ads, and I don't even see them most of the time.

Today in: How unions help the workers

So, the writers have a list of demands, and many companies would support it. But a single corporation who calculated, that they can survive for 10+ years without producing movies realized, that their competetors will crash in the next 6 months.

So, they can kill all of the smaller companies, by just saying "no", and waiting.

GENIUS... :02lul:

Although, the sad part is, that the guy who made the video doesn't understand the concept of a "useful idiot".

Elon Musk on Wikipedia: “there’s an old saying that ‘history is written by the victors,’ it’s like well, not if your enemies are still alive and have a lot of time on their hands to edit Wikipedia. The losers just got a lot of time on their hands.”

Recently, there was a weird trend ow women being weirded out by the concept, that men do tend to think about Roman Empire. I strongly do recomend a video from Lotus Eaters on the topic in case you missed it.

But, the question was asked. Is there a women equivalent???

When I heard the question, my immediate mysogynist anwser was "women think about who fucked who". And obviously that was a joke.... Or was it?

If I talk to my mom about celebrities, she can name me not only 30 times more of them, then I can, but she can also name exactly who used to date who, when, how many kids they had and if they are still together. That is an insane ammount of pointless information. And at some point, I did accept it as "just a woman thing". But the connection with hystory made me rething the entire topic.

In school, I had only women hystory teachers. And I still remember the education style. Have we been thought about the technological advancements throughout the ages, and how the society was affected by them? Nah... Were we thought about the importance of Jerusalem, and what was the perception of Muslims across the hystory? Nah.... Were we thought about why the Vlad the Impaler is to this day considered a national hero? :omegalul: no way.

We were thought about every single king of Czech republic how many women he fucked, how many wifes he had and most importantly, how many male and female kids they birthed.

It was just a bunch of useless data to my male brain..... except: In the hystorical context, this is the shit entire wars are waged over. It is THE important topic above every other topic.

So, unironically..... Let me introduce all of you men reading this to the FEMALE ROMAN EMPIRE:

The point about teachers not gaining the respect of boys is very important. I remember the only teacher I ever considered 'good' at his job was also the only one who had a degree in what he was teaching (a masters in astronomy). He would be able to answere basically any question we could come up with on the spot, and would regularly point out exciting space things happening. For example there was a probe that did a close flyby of pluto (the fist ever) while we were there and he excitedly showed everyone the pictures in class. That also happens to be the only class I ever studied for.

And my 2nd grandma had died.
I saw her once in my life though. :blobawkward:

Anyway, don't forget to call your close ones today.
