Please, don't be too harsh on the Big bang theory. Is it bad? Yes. It is totally unwatchable. But, it is also old. And I don't mean just a bit old, but really old. It is actually 7 years older then the fucking gamergate.

Back in the age of gamergate, being a nerd was treated as a deadly desiese. That was one of the catalists for it, and I would even say the biggest shift in the culture ever since. Even bigger, then public discovery of an SJW phenomena or current slow acceptance of the question.

But, this show tried to normalize the same identit 7 years prior to even that. So, please be kind. They had good intentions, and it's possible, that id did in fact push in the right direction.
