@coded_artist the one good thing Japan has going forward is that they can't use the colonialism oppressor language against them and they can't insinuate that there were other people besides the native Japanese and their lands.

Japan's probably the closest there's ever been to a full ethno state.

@coded_artist interesting enough that lie would have continued if it wasn't for assassin Creed.

A lot of History channels and people reporting weird and fun historical facts kept regurging that information from Wikipedia without checking the information and after the whole assassin Creed thing a lot of people who are extremely autistic who like to dig into details dug into the matter I figured out that the entire thing was fake and with fabricated by one person.

If it wasn't for assassin's Creed this could have been cemented as a fact definitively if it didn't get addressed in a hundred years

@Mr_NutterButter @coded_artist Wikipedia really brings freaks out of the woodwork. Reading the Wikipedia talk pages of both the English and Jap pages for Yasuke are hilarious. For months there's been this guy guarding the English page with his life. He also tries to edit the Jap page, but it always gets reverted by the Japs, so he makes an alt account with a VPN and yells on the talk page with jewgle translate trying to be a Jap and guilt trip them with race, and the Japs go "We know it's you."

In general on controversial topics, if you follow the paper trail of sources, in English it's usually incestuous. Often they link to articles that reference other articles that end up in reference dead ends, or just reference Wikipedia itself. Also, in general, tons of 404s. From having to edit Wikipedia for college classes, I've noticed their emphasis on "reliable sources" is always selectively enforced and interpreted. I've had entire articles threatened to be deleted because I formatted dates wrong. But if it's about painting a nigger in a positive light, then you can write whatever the fuck you want.

It's heinous how every time I want to enjoy reading about the world for an evening, kikepedia is editorialized to hell and the sources articles that are one step away from being tabloids. I need to download one of those offline Wikipedia programs from like 2012 or something, before it got so irreversibly pozzed.
