Any of you guys remember the dude who got his neck slashed at a bus stop in Arizona a couple months ago? Well he did unfortunately pass away. I had donated to a givesendgo for him but it seems like it got refunded recently and when I went to check out the fundraiser this popped up. Very strange.

@beardalaxy What was the campaign for? If it was for medical expenses, and he died, maybe it wouldn't be valid to keep the campaign going.
Also... who set up the campaign? Cause if it wasn't the victim, or the family of the victim, if it was a third party, it might very well be the family that is threatening to sue cause they don't want attention being drawn to them.

@alyx oh looks like it was setup by thequartering. Last archive of it (may 12) says on May 1st he had been talking with the family but I can't see the rest of the post.

There's the video explanation
Tl;Dr tons of different "family members" and a lawyer tried to be the beneficiary, Jeremy tried to set up a trust for the guy's daughter and nobody wanted to do it.
The victim's brother set up another one though and said he was going to do just that, give the money to his daughter, but then THAT one got unpublished.
People are fucking INSANE dude.

@beardalaxy I mean... the people who created BLM used the money donated to them to buy a million dollar mansion. I'm not that surprised that people tried to scam and profit from a guy's death. Honestly, it's amazing that things like this don't happen more often (or they do, and we don't notice).
