@beardalaxy What was the campaign for? If it was for medical expenses, and he died, maybe it wouldn't be valid to keep the campaign going.
Also... who set up the campaign? Cause if it wasn't the victim, or the family of the victim, if it was a third party, it might very well be the family that is threatening to sue cause they don't want attention being drawn to them.

Tl;Dr tons of different "family members" and a lawyer tried to be the beneficiary, Jeremy tried to set up a trust for the guy's daughter and nobody wanted to do it.
The victim's brother set up another one though and said he was going to do just that, give the money to his daughter, but then THAT one got unpublished.
People are fucking INSANE dude.
@beardalaxy I mean... the people who created BLM used the money donated to them to buy a million dollar mansion. I'm not that surprised that people tried to scam and profit from a guy's death. Honestly, it's amazing that things like this don't happen more often (or they do, and we don't notice).
