Literally not the point. I am talking about what user sees before he goes on the jurney to customize his experience :D

@LukeAlmighty @lunarised clicking through the cookie warning is not "customizing your experience" lol. That comes when you use ffz and can fine tune everything. Twitch doesn't have a great UI to begin with but you could have at least clicked on the cookie stuff lol.

Obviously I love to use precise language as the worst euphemism/dysphemism, because that way I say the core of my message without any gray area to be interpreted into it.

But my point still stands, that if this is the first thing I see on a website, I seriously don't want to stay long enough to start clicking on every stupid popup.

I don't get why people cope and can't admit that Twitch has a bad UI and is just a bad platform overall. I'm not even talking about this thread. I see this everywhere. Aside that people can get away with infringing copyright laws, I don't understand why streamers even use it.

@alyx @LukeAlmighty @lunarised the main reason why people use twitch is for the chat. i heavily prefer youtube's player and layout (by default, at least) but twitch's chat is LEAGUES better. there is a huge focus on community interaction on twitch that youtube just doesn't have.

i don't know anything about kick, but they're really the only other contender.

here's a picture of what my twitch looks like. frankerfacez is dope. there is a bar at the top that drops down the top navigation too.

Let me make myself clear. If you need a third party software to make your UI usable, then your UI is defective. This is not even a Twitch only rule, and it's technically not even limited to UI.

@alyx @LukeAlmighty @lunarised yeah i'm not saying twitch's UI is good lol if i thought that i wouldn't use the extension
