Saying you're suspending shipments because of the war, would imply Nintendo directly opposes the war and suspecting activity would be a political act on their part, just like every other company out there.
Nintendo is usually against doing politics, but they also recognize that right now doing business in Russia is not really safe. You don't have any guarantee that your shipments will make it to Russia, that you'll get your money for your products, that some third party won't try to intercept either of those along the way. So for now it's less risky to withdraw from Russia.
This is basically what I think their public statement means. They don't have a political opinion on Russia's invasion, but the unstable region still makes it difficult to do business safely.
@Terry
Wouldn't that be donating to the russians though?
@MisterRogersSnapped
While they're not exactly songs you'd call depressing in the traditional sense, individuals like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus or Nikki Minaj definitely make me feel depressed and a general sense that the human race is doomed.
@Gamercat
Fake news. Women don't give a crap that they live longer than men. They'll just demand that they should live even longer, while at the same time complaining that the men die and leave them alone to take care of themselves.

Yes. Don't know what it's called, don't care.

Yup. It's not that they're taking fiction seriously, it's literally that they don't understand how fiction and art work.
This picture is supposed to make the viewer feel anger and revulsion. And this is indeed what is happening to these particular viewers too. Except they have no idea what they're supposed to do with those feelings, they don't understand them, why they feel them, and end up blaming the author for those feelings. They are literally unable to process and understand that as viewers of that piece of art, it was intended for them to be able to correctly identify that those feelings were supposed to be directed at the fictional characters, as they are the ones who perpetuated those fictional crimes that made them angry.
@matrix
>but as far as I can tell there's nothing actually being said with this
And this is why these people are 100% autistic. That image actually conveys a lot. It conveys that this faction, whoever they are, are some very evil, sick and twisted individuals. They are unequivocally the evil doers of the manga, and it is very important for the heroes to defeat and kill them, cause otherwise they will continue to commit atrocities.
That image is not supposed to be "entertainment" in itself. That image is supposed to make you feel sick to the stomach, maybe even anxious or terrified about how your favorite characters will manage to survive an encounter with them. There's not really anything "entertaining" per say about feeling disgusted by something, but art is not always about the "ha ha, that was fun, I want to see that again" MCU Avengers type "entertainment". Art does include being happy and excited, sure, but it also includes sadness, sorrow, anger, rage, disgust, revulsion, offense and many other emotions.
It's ironic how well this art worked on these individuals in triggering a feeling of offense and revulsion in them, but because they're so god damned autistic, they're unable to correctly identify that the perpetrators of the fictional crimes they hate are the fictional characters, and instead blame the author, and direct their outrage at him, instead of directing their outrage at the fictional characters.
Imagine if people directed their outrage they felt when Voldemort killed Harry's parents at J.K. Rowling instead of Voldemort. I hate that I had to give a Harry Potter example, but maybe this is the only language such people understand.
