Seriously though, if the virus originally had skin to skin transmission potential, isn't it logical that skin to anal tissue or bodily fluids to anal tissue would be a major boost in infection rate? The issue being that anal tissue is gonna be a lot more permeable, to the point that the skin to skin element of gay sex is irrelevant. This discussion reminds me of a study I've heard about some years ago.
The organizers divided the women involved in the study in 3 groups.
One group was given testosterone; one group was given testosterone, but told they received a placebo; and the third was given a placebo but told they were given the testosterone.

The women who were given the testosterone, but thought they had a placebo, didn't change their behavior much, but they became slightly more cooperative, were easier to work with in teams.

But here's the interesting part: all the women who were told they were given testosterone, including the ones who were given the placebo, suddenly started to adopt all the kinds of behaviors that feminists like to call "toxic masculinity". Anything negative that you heard thrown on men, they were doing it. More aggressive, violent, harder to get along or work with.

The grooming is a more recent phenomenon... well, at least ever since Tumblr became their holly ground.
The problem is the grooming destroys any legitimate data you could try to gather and study what's really going on. Now your data is contaminated with trans-trenders, who've attached themselves to the trans identity similar to how "edgy" teens used to attach themselves to goth or emo a few decades ago. But they don't have gender dysphoria, they don't have autogynephilia, they're just playing make belief.

That's the issue, I'm not sure if it covers enough of the cases. Not sure if it's even 50/50.

I'm honestly getting more attention on that post than I thought I'd get or wanted... It's not bad so far... but still, I'm not a fan of being in the spotlight.
