@Awoo
It's been too long since I've seen Alex Jones' boobs bounce like that.

And you should just get an e-room and e-fuck Awoo, to get it out of your system.

I think I had one of the best dreams for a nerd.

I had gotten my hands on a vintage CPU, one that my cousin owned back in the day, an old AMD Duron 700mhz. Probably came out somewhere around 2000. But that's not the good part. The good part was that I put it as a secondary CPU in my system, and I could dualboot an old Windows on it and play old games perfectly.

This made me think, could this become a thing? People speculate a transition to ARM PCs, and while the idea seems decent, there's the problem of legacy x86 software, especially games, and how difficult it would be to attempt emulation for them. Sure, you can emulate Notepad without being bothered by the overhead, but something that is CPU bottlenecked is out of the question for many generations.

So what if instead, your ARM motherboard had the ability to attach a daughter board that contain a x86 CPU, that allowed your PC to boot into a x86 mode. Or maybe have the OS be smart enough to be able to use it for x86 programs directly, instead of sending them to an emulation layer.

Not in the hands of the current Disney execs. They couldn't even handle Bobba Fett.

Riiiight.... I'll just be moving along to the sane people area.

I bet they don't have the guts to do the same treatment for Muhammad.

Umm... no. Starting a war might be bad, but it's not the same thing as terrorism.

The new bugs appear when you do very specific actions too, namely playing the game. You can entirely avoid the glitches by not playing the game. :blobtonguewink:

@Synclair
The whole issue reminds me of an older episode of Walking Dead. Let me explain.

When the original gang first stumbled upon Hershel's farm, we were introduced to his daughter that was kinda suicidal, and how her father basically locked her up so she wouldn't off herself. Until Andrea (I think) decided to take matters into her own hands, and gave her a knife, saying "you want to kill yourself, here take this". But she wasn't able to actually go through with it, and afterwards finally managed to start healing.

Moral of the story is that if someone REALLY wants to kill themselves, it's not hard. They can and have done it perfectly fine without the help of "assisted dying" practices. But some people don't actually want to die.

What is actually happening in Canada, is these people don't know what to do anymore. They are lost in their lives. Consciously or unconsciously, they are seeking for guidance. Basically they are looking for a father figure to help them over an impasse....

And then Trudeau's government comes barging in, and their version of guidance is... well technically it's not even "go kill yourself". That's 4chan or Kiwifarms territory. That's giving the struggling person some agency. That's at least telling the person that only they have control over their own life (or death).

No, what Trudeau's government is doing is saying: if you concede all your independence to me, and let me kill you, all your worries will be over.

Assisted suicide has it's place, when it's on a death bed, and the person is confronted with unspeakable pain and misery, and they'd rather die today than after another few months of torment, but they're so weak that they can't even bring a knife to their own throat, or the hospital they're in has stolen so much of their independence and agency that they just can't get their hands on any tool that would be effective at ending their life.

But what Trudeau's government has been doing... it's preying on people in psychological weakened states and mass murdering them.
