@beardalaxy Oh, that's probably fine then. Those usually go into motivational platitudes, and not politics. I'm not particularly a fan of those kind of talks, but Kermit is an appropriate figure to deliver one.

@beardalaxy What kind of speech are we talking about? Cause if someone made Kermit do a political speech, I'd be upset too.

@mischievoustomato
Reading the article makes me happy that I don't use flatpaks. Or snaps either for that matter.
This whole fiasco just proved that xkcd standards comic from years ago. They set out to create a package manager to replace the other package managers, and all they did is increase the number of package managers. Next up, they'll rewrite it and make Flatpak 2. Surely they'll fix the package manager problem this time!

From this description alone, it sounds like a "yes". But I'm guessing there's more context here.

Apparently there's an engine remake in the works for Elder Scrolls Arena. It's not playable yet, but if this gets finished, we'll have all the mainline games in working order for modern systems. Pretty neat.

@Mr_NutterButter P.S. Bruh... HL2 released in 2004. Episode 1 in 2006. Episode 2 and Portal released in 2007.

@Mr_NutterButter Wait... but we're in 2025... OMG Valve silently dropped HL2!!!! BASED!!!

People overuse Hanlon's razor. Yes, sometimes people really are evil, psychopath bastards, and it's not just stupidity. When you have individuals like Vaush that plainly and openly state "I don't care about principles, I want to win", you can be sure that the shit he says is out of malice, not stupidity. Hasan is the same, and so are many more. When you have someone that assassinates people out of their political convictions, that is evil, not stupid. When you have countless people that encouraged this, that is evil, not stupid.

Math will never work with current LLM AIs, because math is the language of logic and reason, and LLMs can't do precise reasoning like that. By the time you get these AIs to do math correctly, they'd barely be any better than humans.

Computers do math well when you program them to use their precise binary processors to do precision things, aka raw computational math. Send 0010 + 0011 to the CPU and get 0101 in return.
LLM AIs are not that. AIs are an attempt to get variety, originality, aka imprecision from binary precise processors. So you take a precision instrument, force it into an imprecise process, and then you expect it again to get a precise math result. You're just using all of it wrong.

Ideally, you'd want to make the AI be able to identify when a user is asking for a math problem, and make it manually send the parameters to a Calculator app, and just plop the result in chat. I doubt right now that any AI is doing this. They're just sending everything in the LLM and hoping magic correct math comes out.

Or if you're very high on drugs... huh... maybe this was intentional after all.

Looks like an average leftie to me. Which doesn't surprise me, because lately lefties seem to be the psychopaths in society.
