The only objective reason to do anything is the objectively true fact that you subjectively want to be happy. It's not an ought, it's an is, you do want to be happy

Yeah, you could change your mind buy so could the first type you mentioned

@furgar It's a service he has to pay for by law which then affects society as a whole (which affects him and his kids), even if he does homeschool his kids, and i think conservative types are more likely to homeschool anyway

@matana @LukeAlmighty But it's not. Solar panels and windmills take massive amounts of space and resources and are expensive to maintain, none of which is done in a green way, and then they go to power some big city where all these types live
