@iska@mk.starnix.network @matrix @LukeAlmighty i'm not just talking about the controller, i'm talking about the fact that you're going to need a beefy phone that will cost at least twice the price of a switch to play AAA games with poor performance. not to mention the battery drain.

plenty of games still don't boot, or have heavy graphic glitches, and shader compilation stutters are still an issue even on PC.

plus i would not want to play on a portable switch with a gamecube controller, let alone a smaller phone screen.

it's not as simple as "phones can emulate switch." that's a completely uninformed idea. there exists an emulator, but in no way is it what i would consider playable and probably won't be for the foreseeable future until some better hardware comes out, and even then it won't be nearly as accessible, and you'll still have the battery drain problem.
