@Mr_NutterButter it's because the internet, where a lot of us lived, was completely different from real life. Now they are much, much more intermingled and you can't escape.

@beardalaxy @Mr_NutterButter I think the big elephant in the room is the obvious fact that we went through probably the biggest global psyop in history and we are told that the world will never be the same after that and it's only getting worse with these wars going on which are obviously going to cause even more global change.

Why would any young adult be optimistic when they are told that they will own nothing, work even longer hours than their parents (with less pay), have less freedom (social credit, carbon scores, and EGS ratings), and possibly be drafted into proxy wars that they don't care about?
