"I'm so glad that Luigi killed that CEO! EAT THE RICH!"
"Nooo... Don't make the big companies suffer! Now I can't afford my shoes made with child labor!"
@LukeAlmighty @beardalaxy Who do you think pays them to organize?
Back in like 2015 or 2014, I was in downtown Houston taking care of some business. After I was done there was a bunch of traffic, and some faggot asked if he could have my parking space. I had no idea it was the faggot ass gay faggot parade, and I was trapped in my parking space on the street, so I had to watch. Looking back, I should have plowed through the lot of them. Anyway, they came marching down the street with a big ass banner that spanned the street
HOUSTON PRIDE PARADE Sponsored by Comcast
I was like what the fuck..... Because at this point in time it was universally accepted that Comcast was literally Satan on Earth in America, and here they are, proudly holding up a banner that says "Sponsored by Satan."
@beardalaxy yeah nigga my boomer parents were literally just going around saying "I hope XYZ gets Luigi'd" at every minor inconvenience for the past few weeks while simultaneously crying that these overvalued inflated companies have finally sprung a leak. Didn't the S&P double in five years while we were locked up in a "pandemic"? Weren't people saying we were in a bubble for that entire time? The fuck are people crying about now. We're probably on the cusp of the biggest "I told you so" of our lifetime.
How is it an order of magnitude cheaper to get an AliExpress USB cable shipped from Guangzhou than it is to buy one at Walmart (also shipped from Chyna)? Wasn't Coke hiring South American PMCs to kill unions in their factories or some shit and now people want to protect the company? Foxconn paying slaves like $12 a month to make iPhones and I should care Apple is in the red for a week? This shit isn't sustainable or healthy. Don't give a fuck anymore, if I can't buy a house you can't buy your yearly iPhone bitch.
@KaiserKitty i think the idea is to try and get companies to come back here, but also to put pressure on other nations to reduce their tariffs on us. if they don't want to reduce their tariffs on us, then ideally we can lower tax rates. i won't pretend to know all the ins and outs of all of it because i really don't, but if it is going to make things more sustainable in the long run for the average dude here i'm fine biting the bullet for a little bit while things get turbulent.
like it's gonna' suck ass if i have to pay more for a switch 2 but if that ends up with prices for other stuff like more domestic goods going down by a lot then i'd say that's a good trade off. only IF that's the case, though. i know a lot of other things have to come together to make the cost of living less expensive.
we'll really just have to wait and see, not like any of us can do shit about it so let's just hope it all turns out well.
@beardalaxy
I am seriously tired of all the leftie ancaps sucking dick of global conglomerates.
