man, if only sony just kept on making phones like this and they could have consolidated their handheld market into their smartphone market too. having like an xperia vita or something would be fucking awesome.

That said, damn I'd love that sony wherbagajiger phone, so many games do not work well with just a touch screen

Graphically it close enough to GBA to me and the screen was too damn small. The SP had the clam shell form factor a lot of fip phones at the time had. You know it's pretty sad when a game console makes a design better than your primary function device.

Same here lol the one I played had the Sims, I kinda wanted one until I tried it. I probably should have grabbed one when it was on sale, dirt cheap.

I do miss the days when i cold scoff at kids who said cellphone games were good. I remember saying the DS was an Ipod/Iphone killer because games other than angry birds and the standard buttons.

I still think gaming on cellphones sucks though. It's tolerable if you get blue tooth controller but I just don't like the platform mostly because of how it opened the floodgates with predatory gacha games and micro transactions.

if that can be done maybe the insides of one of these chinese mini gamepads would be small enough to fit a similar "slider case" form factor...

@EdBoatConnoisseur @beardalaxy YEAH!!! Maybe it still works with a SIM? I have the 4G version but not the right size SIM card... Somehow the battery can still last most of the day.

It is very convenient for casual pre-PS1 stuff (I could never get PS1 injects to work).
