Xperia XZ1 Compact upgraded to Android 14 and... SIM card now works fine when it didn't before? I get calls and data now. Maybe I'll use it again.

man, if only sony just kept on making phones like this and they could have consolidated their handheld market into their smartphone market too. having like an xperia vita or something would be fucking awesome.

That said, damn I'd love that sony wherbagajiger phone, so many games do not work well with just a touch screen

@ZRDR_DelRio @monsterislandcolonizer @EdBoatConnoisseur @arc @beardalaxy Only time I touched an NGage was at a demo kiosk at a gamestop in the mid 2000s and they had some FIFA game on it. Graphically it close enough to GBA to me and the screen was too damn small. The SP had the clam shell form factor a lot of fip phones at the time had. You know it's pretty sad when a game console makes a design better than your primary function device.
