I don't interact w/ Fedora-Atheists so IDK what they'd say on the topic, probably the exact same shit because they always manage to believe in all the worst parts of Christianity but none of the good stuff.
For a proper materialist, the categories are all virtual anyway. Conventional. The idea of an inner self apart from physical accidents comes from a Christian/Hellenic mode of thinking (and other derivatives but I don't think they matter here).

You know, that the anwser is "depending on the style of transformation."
If my "self" was transfered perfectly, then attraction would be a part of this identity. But, since we have no idea how the different body feels, and how it would react to presence of other peopple, it could be, that sexuality would be a part of new biological reality.
So, the anwser is, you cannot know without re-defining the question to an absurd degree.
