here's another comparison, old on the left and remake on the right. i don't really know how to explain it but ellie looks like an alien and joel looks like a mannequin.
from what i can tell the geometry looks cleaner, but i mean it's pretty obvious looking at the original game that most of the resources are probably going toward the characters since they're what you look at most of the time. naughty dog squeezed every ounce they could out of the ps3.
also apparently THE GAME IS FUCKING FULL PRICED. $70 FOR THIS FUCKING SHIT.
if you have a ps5 and SOMEHOW haven't played the last of us, just buy the ps4 remaster. please.
here's what i was talking about with ellie by the way, from last of us 2. she does look better than she did there, but her original design is SO much better.
OH FUCK i posted this before i got to the part with joel xD i actually laughed out loud at this what the FUCK dawg xD
ellie doesn't look AS fucked up as she did in last of us part 2's flashback scene but she does still look fucked up. is this supposed to be an upgrade?!
i'm still a firm believer that the rendering in general just doesn't look as good either. it's so soft and blurry, you see like no detail. the texture/modeling of ellie's shirt in particular looks like ass.
kind of cool that the game is coming to PC so i HOPE AND PRAY that modders can do something here. given the fact that there are already pretty extensive modding tools for both games on PS3 and PS4 i wouldn't be surprised if the PC version will be able to do that as well.
Here is my setup, the cpu fan is intake rather than exhaust. I'm kind of at a loss on how to position the 2 case fans i have. Any pointers?
I feel like the rear one should be intake so I can blow cool air over the cpu fan, not sure where to put the second fan though for exhaust. If I put it in the front that's just kind of weird because I'm just blowing air out the front. If I put it up top it might cause a loop where the intake is bringing in that warmer recycled air. If I make the rear fan an exhaust I feel like it's going to just suck hot air over the cpu fan which is just going to make it worse. Plus if the front is intake then it is just going to get shoved around by the GPU fans. That's another potential reason to put exhaust in the front, to get the heat out of the case being generated by the gpu, but yeah idk shooting heat out the front just seems weird to me.
Airflow is something I'm really terrible at so I'd like some pointers!
