@Gronsak I'd say that's probably true for console fps at the very least. cod's control scheme is still pretty much the best way to do it. It popularized stuff like custom weapon loadouts too.

I'd go as far to say that quake did more than doom did tbh. Doom was legendary, but quake, half life, and call of duty put in a shit ton of work too.

people are already beginning to fake TOTK leaks. i seriously expect an actual leak to come out as soon as game stores have the copies in their back rooms.

dead island 2 has been in development hell since like 2013, changed studios 3 times. it's a miracle it even came out at all, let alone in an actually good state.

unfortunately it's only on epic games store and has denuvo. i'm not made of money so i wanna play it but can't until some nice guy out there manages to crack it. i already gotta spend $70 on tears of the kingdom lol.
