@gav @Terry @Some_German_Guy it's always baffled me how people will go like 3 months without updating their PC lol. there can be security risks involved. but like, do these people never turn their computers off? there is an option to install updates upon shutdown. that's always what i do.

plus, you'd think someone who was so angry about automatic updates would actually find a way to turn them off. because you can, and it's pretty easy, just not directly in the settings menu. you can even just receive security updates and not feature updates if that's what you want.

maybe this was way worse back in the win7 days, as it appears this dude is using (damn this is an old video, skype and fraps lmao). i don't really see people complaining about automatic updates anymore. i really only got into computers with windows 8.1 and it wasn't ever really a problem for me. the main issue i have is that fuckin action center and notifications, always the first things i get rid of on windows installs.

@Need_More_Soma @Terry @Shlomo @Some_German_Guy people have tried porting new directx stuff to windows 7 for gaming purposes, but it doesn't work super well. windows 10 and even windows 11 are really good if you run a couple of very simple debloating scripts. shouldn't have to do that in the first place, but it's really nice that the option is there.

@Terry funny enough, pso2 seems to be working fine despite using MS servers lol. this is what centralization does to a motherfucker though.

@Some_German_Guy @Terry probably just means that people can't use onedrive or their ms office license can't validate or something lol. it's not like their entire computer dies.

@Terry probably only used a single roll of duct tape for each color, impressive

@bronze no lie, i saw a mexican dude wearing a shirt with an american flag that said "viva mexico"

that's just cruel

Lots of reports that DEI is "going away" but I can't help but think it's just going to be replaced by something else.

@wishgranter14 @Terry he's also a pedophile but I'm sure half the people at the rnc don't mind.

Guys please don't threaten to kill the president, even if the post is clearly a joke it's still against the rules, and is against federal law. Trevor Moore got away with it because he was an established comedian on a nationally syndicated comedy show and it was clearly a bit. You will not get away with it, and if you don't WE will have to deal with the feds breathing down our necks. Thank you

@Spingebill bruh seeing this shit all the time baffles me. There are some crazy people out there.
