@HAPPYPOTAMUS out of curiosity, i went and checked and couldn't find anything from elvis himself. they were all quotes from people saying that elvis saw her as an inspiration.

i think it would be more apt to say that she set the stage for elvis to exist. if that makes sense. influential to the sphere.

i asked grok and it couldn't come up with anything from elvis himself either.
