wager essentially were something like 6000 former speznas before the war began.
then they startet recruting around 40.000 prisoners.
drilled them for only a month, then went to war.
most of the gains russia made were done by them.
further, ukraine is not there only battleground, wagner is active in several african countrys right now, literally hunting warlords and pacifying the area.
thats why some of them have flipped over to russien allegiance recently.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating if you put two images in front of me and said one is AI and one isn't, I'd probably be able to tell the majority of the time. There is just something particularly different about AI images, even when they don't look fucked up. This is a really cool finding.

Lately there's been a bit of buzz around AI/ML generated artwork.
Normally when I look at these things, I can tell rapidly whether or not they're AI generated simply by finding subtle errors. However, a few of these are actually pretty well crafted - it's hard sometimes to tell.
I ran a few of these images through some forensic tools, and I noticed something a little odd about a few: a normal anime image will have a luminance gradient which is smooth (or if it's noisy, the noise is primarily due to compression).
However, an AI generated anime image will have a luminance gradient with much more structured noise, and the noise will be dependent on what type of object there is. Attached are 5 images - the first 3 are AI generated, and the last two are hand-drawn.
