@coolboymew @why @realcaseyrollins yeah there's always a setting to change the audio delay to match your screen's lag, some games can even do it automatically and get pretty close. That's every rhythm game that's not on a CRT or the arcade. There will always be at least a little bit of lag. Iirc my Clone Hero setting is like 30ms audio delay.

I just had the weirdest dream ever.

I was riding home from work in an Uber but it was April Fools Day, and I wanted to grab some food. Well, for 4/1 In N Out had reversed their drive thru and also swapped all their food out with McDonald's, and I made the Uber driver reverse through the drive thru and ordered 12 burgers and a carrot shake.

Then the Uber driver turned into my mom and we drove to the grocery store to buy some groceries. Instead of driving home we walked home and my retail manager was there with us for some reason but she left halfway through the walk.

We went back home to the first house I lived at and my neighbor still lived there across the street. Turns out the daughter there just got a job where I worked and started the next day. Something happened in our house but I don't remember that part.

So the next day I went in to work and sure enough she was there, along with another ex of mine. It was super awkward and I couldn't count any money or do much of anything the right way. Eventually they both had their shifts end and I was super relieved. Then some weird dude in a brown trenchcoat came in and was trying to get my manager to punch him or something. She wouldn't touch him at all but he kept pestering her so I put my hand on his chest and guided him out of the store. I made a remark about how if he came back I'd give him what he wanted. Then I accidentally ripped the foot off a stuffed bear because it got stuck in a cart.

For whatever reason, I had to be transferred to a bigger store and started working there but also had a lot of problems getting adjusted to people buying a higher quantity of items and just larger items in general. People were buying a lot of brooms and ball pit balls and then the store started to lightly flood.

Some scam alert went off talking about how people were trying to scam the store into giving them those items for free/cheap in order to do some weird Korean torture involving trapping someone in a watery maze with only a broom and a few ball pit balls to mark their progress.

Then, for the weirdest twist yet, I TURNED INTO CR1TIKAL AND MADE A WHOLE ASS MUSIC VIDEO talking about how dumb this scam and the torture method were. I turned back into myself and got transferred back to the original store because I apparently handled the scam incorrectly.

Back at the original store, I was on break and scrolling through fedi when I noticed there was a copycat instance of gameliberty that was a .com domain instead and they were posting a bunch of scammy shit trying to bait people into this Korean scam. I was getting really worried about it and checked my baest account to see it had been banned for spam, so that made me more worried that my account had been compromised.

All while this is happening, apparently people are trying to buy water from my work and we sell it straight from the federal reserve, and I accidentally put in the wrong number which takes all of the water in the reserves and dumps it into the store, flooding everything. I'm panicking for several reasons now and then I woke up.

It took me a while to realize I hadn't been hacked or anything. I was like.... None of this makes sense! How was I hacked? Well yeah dummy, none of it makes sense because it was a dream.

I was only asleep for 4 fucking hours lol.
