For how much the Jews hate Hitler, they are doing a really bad job when it comes to not letting another one be created. Give it 20 years. Those who are too young to run for office will see the fallout of all of this and it will affect their decisions going forward. Interesting times.

@Kyonko802 it's not obvious at first, but the main tell is the dude's right hand. It looks fucked on closer inspection. The censorship was probably done because the AI put something that was more of a tell there, if I had to guess.

I'm also not convinced that there would be so little residue in the sheet, as well as the extreme disfiguration and charring of the "baby." It looks pretty unidentifiable.

It isn't unreasonable to think that someone could have trained an AI on images of charred corpse autopsies and come up with this, tbh.

@ForbiddenDreamer @marlin @WilliamRockwell apparently, only the ones they weren't going to burn immediately got tattoos so that their bodies could be identified if they died. a lot of them didn't receive tattoos but instead numbers on their clothes or arm bands.

but why would the nazis have cared about identifying people? i can't find a reason for that beyond making sure that jews who were granted special roles, like enforcement or being able to work outside of the concentration camp, were recognized. up until now i didn't even know that was a thing, or that the numbers were mostly just used in Auschwitz and nowhere else.
