@Nepiant 4:40am here, i'm exhausted af but still awake because i'm just awake. on 3 hours of sleep and woke up at 6am yesterday.

damn it seems i have too many files in my game for it to work in a browser, like in itch.io or newgrounds. it'd have to be just a demo but then what's the point?

i was looking into making an android port as well, but the problem with doing that means i would have to add on-screen controls and completely rework how some systems work due to plugin incompatibilities.

looks like it is stuck on PC/Linux for now lads.

i was also looking into adding a full lighting system, but it seems the way most, if not all, of them work is to make the screen completely dark other than the light sources. so you kind of have to develop with that in mind to begin with. i could set up completely static lighting, but that would be a shadow/light map for every single map in the game (500+). too much.

so i don't think lighting is going to be feasible to add either unfortunately.
