I'm reading My Wife Has No Emotion and this fucking piece of shit clanker propaganda is this close to making me wake up one day and breed my toaster while I put a wig on it. FUCK.

@coolboymew this has always looked like the most promising one. i'm pretty stoked for it. 4 days from now it releases in EA.

@Fullmetal2255 it's good to see an ancient statue with good figure for once. most of them are fat.

okay guys i know life sims are "girl games" but holy shit this game is looking so insanely good already. it's not just a sims copy, it's got a lot of unique stuff going for it and it smooths out so many issues i've had with the sims. character heights, adjustable furniture, steam workshop support, the works.

@Jens_Rasmussen I can base my scoring system however I want lol. Here's my general vibe:

10 = Absolute masterpiece. If there's anything wrong with the game, it's something incredibly inconsequential.
9 = Almost a masterpiece but has a lot of small things that add up that prevent it from reaching that status.
8 = Really great game but has some fundamental flaw that prevents it from being absurdly good.
7 = Good, fun game but nothing in particular that stands out.
6 = Decent game, has ups and downs but is still mostly alright. It is probably something a bit more niche based on what you enjoy from a game and what you don't.
5 = The game has some deep flaw that prevents it from really even being fun, or it misses the target it is aiming for.
4 = Fails at nearly everything it attempts but it's still somewhat playable.
3 = Barely playable to a frustrating degree and is bad in every department. Might have one thing that is kind of alright.
2 = Unplayable trash that has no redeeming qualities aside from the fact that it technically runs.
1 = Marred with technical issues so bad that they completely overshadow anything that might actually be good about the game.

Or something like that.

@Jens_Rasmussen for average video game scores, you're not taking the literal average number out of a bunch of other numbers, you're judging a whole bunch of scores for a whole bunch of games and then seeing what the average score is between all those games. that number happens to be about 7 because not a whole lot of games are scoring below a 5.

so i'd say this game isn't even really average, or just below average. it's hard to play because of technical issues and the rest of it is rather unremarkable.

Castle of Illusion Review (5/10)

This game sucks. Not for any fault of design necessarily, but this shit runs at 30 FPS and has awful input lag. For a platformer that still requires at least a little bit of a precision, it feels like ass.

I also know that it is a remake of an old game so it's not that long, it seems pretty faithful but I haven't played the original. I just don't know how you drop the ball this hard. Dude the game's logo straight up breaks if you quit to the title screen. The game sometimes crashes just trying to change resolution.

It's okay if you want to just play something real quick in a few hours just for like... I don't know, the experience or something? But for the most part... stay away.

@lain how did pokopia of all things beat out resident evil 9

I went to use the activation script for windows on the living room pc and apparently windows was already activated. Wtf.

I am once again asking people to look into apps like Binance to send and recieve funds, if you live outside the US is even easier with seamless options like BinancePay that uses a simple email or 7 digit code

Sending crypto the normal way on-chain is also easier than ever if you use stablecoins.

Chase your mother fucking dreams until you can't run anymore. Then crawl after them until you die.
