I've shared this idea a few times before, and now we have this beautiful drawing by @Blakie :baraag:

If you're all caught up on the story then you know about what Elizabeth did to Naomi. And you know about what she's thinking of doing to say sorry to Naomi.

This is just one of many ideas for how she might make things right, and it's still possible she won't do anything for Naomi and just leave her in the current situation.

Poor Naomi.

Alone In The Dark update, I'm on Chapter 3 now. Game feels like it's coming to a close pretty soon. I do quite like the story and the setting. The combat is so bad I dropped it down to Easy so I can get through it faster. Movement is just super clunky, you get trapped in corners very easily, reticle doesn't always like up quite right and sometimes you just can't shoot enemies for some reason (like invisible collision, something weird is going on there). I'm enjoying the puzzles, they're a little bit easy I'd say. Two of them I've just brute forced because they were combination locks with 6 symbols on 3 dials lol.

The puzzles kind of remind me of Uncharted, because for some of them you have to go looking through your notes and find diagrams and clues in there. However, all I can think about is how much better Uncharted is at this sort of thing while also having better combat.

There's nothing the game does particularly better than anything else, even some games from 20+ years ago, but I'm still enjoying it.

I can't believe I need to say this.

Do not DM me with CSEM. You will be blocked immediately, and reported to appropriate authorities.

I'm fine with fiction and people perverting my characters. That's not harming anyone. I don't support child molesters or CSEM. Y'all distributing that can fuck right off. Hell has a special seat waiting for you.

Kotaku writers complaining about the shift in focus from the suits

50 guides per week with a team of 7 writers means that you'll have to write one guide a day. Or, ideally, several in one day.

Keep in mind, these are not entire game walkthroughs. They are short game guides, such as "How To Get The Master Sword in Tears of the Kingdom."

You and I could probably write 50 of these in a week ourselves for the games we play. You have content creators who are dedicated to just one game that manage to make daily videos with little guides in them all over YouTube. It's more or less just "pick a game mechanic/quest and write a small guide for it."

These people are complaining not about having to write so much, because it really isn't much, but they're complaining that they have to write directly about video games that people play instead of industry drama. They are supposed "game journalists" complaining about having to play and write about video games.

The New Scientist is trying to rehabilitate the image of cannibalism lmao
