Any of you guys remember the dude who got his neck slashed at a bus stop in Arizona a couple months ago? Well he did unfortunately pass away. I had donated to a givesendgo for him but it seems like it got refunded recently and when I went to check out the fundraiser this popped up. Very strange.
So, I've listened to some of the audio journal things from Tears of the Kingdom's upgrade DLC smartphone shit. I didn't pay for it, just listening on someone's stream.
All they do is further cement how much I dislike this Zelda's voice. All of these recordings especially just sound so fake and emotionless...
Maybe there are some cool bits of lore in there or something but what I have heard so far just sounds so cheesy and forced. I also really do not like the fact that you need to use a companion app to even listen to them. You're given directions by a shitty GPS voice to an invisible spot on the ground that unlocks a voice memory. Nothing in the actual game happens, it's all in the app. It's so dumb.

I don't like the idea of going to the dark net. It implies a greater criminality that we are not associated with. The former home of the silk road and actual evil shit is not a place I want our community hosted.

As far as I'm concerned, Tor and the like is the Mines of Moria and we ain't got no Gandalf to heroically sacrifice himself to the Balrog.
I'm not saying Tor and such doesn't have legitimate uses. We just do not belong there.
