i'm so fucking confused right now
so, i have a new recording setup and everything. it's all exactly the way i used to have it on my current pc except now with a different pc.
the audio was fucking awful. turns out windows audio enhancements was the culprit. i don't have that on my pc so i never thought to check. anyway, it cleared up the audio.
then, however, there was this god awful noise and high pitched tone. i thought i had gotten rid of that by using a ground loop isolator thingy which did a great job. it wasn't doing fuck all now though apparently.
super confused, take it all back to my usual pc and it all sounds completely perfect as it should.
take it back downstairs, reconnect everything but with different usb ports and outlets, and it sounds totally fine. okay, it must have been a bad outlet or port or something.
NOW HERE'S WHERE IT GETS FUCKING WEIRD
i go and listen to that recording that had the noise and high pitched tone. IT'S GONE. IT'S FUCKING GONE. i replug everything back the way i had it before, sans audio enhancements, and it sounds COMPLETELY PERFECT. THE TONE IN THE RECORDING IS STILL GONE.
WHAT THE FUCK I HATE COMPUTERS I HATE AUDIO SHIT
i feel like i just fucking HALLUCINATED THE WHOLE THING
okay guys i know life sims are "girl games" but holy shit this game is looking so insanely good already. it's not just a sims copy, it's got a lot of unique stuff going for it and it smooths out so many issues i've had with the sims. character heights, adjustable furniture, steam workshop support, the works.

Castle of Illusion Review (5/10)
This game sucks. Not for any fault of design necessarily, but this shit runs at 30 FPS and has awful input lag. For a platformer that still requires at least a little bit of a precision, it feels like ass.
I also know that it is a remake of an old game so it's not that long, it seems pretty faithful but I haven't played the original. I just don't know how you drop the ball this hard. Dude the game's logo straight up breaks if you quit to the title screen. The game sometimes crashes just trying to change resolution.
It's okay if you want to just play something real quick in a few hours just for like... I don't know, the experience or something? But for the most part... stay away.

I am once again asking people to look into apps like Binance to send and recieve funds, if you live outside the US is even easier with seamless options like BinancePay that uses a simple email or 7 digit code
Sending crypto the normal way on-chain is also easier than ever if you use stablecoins.
