That's my original Wavebird controller by the way, all the way from the early 2000s. Not sure when exactly we got it but it was definitely before the Wii came out.

I'm surprised at how well it still works. I wouldn't use it for actual competitive Smash because the left stick isn't in the greatest condition in the world, but it is still perfectly fine for regular play. It's my go-to controller for N64 /GameCube emulation and ports.

We used to have real controllers man.

Watched the new Naked Gun movie. It's been a long time since I saw the original so I can't really compare it, but I thought it was a pretty fun watch. A lot of "blink and you'll miss it" gags and classic "dad humor" in there that I really enjoy.

Man I got sick or of nowhere, that sucks. I mean, I could tell that something was off yesterday, low energy, but today I got hit like a truck.
