@RehnSturm256 for the soul, really. both C.S. Lewis and Tolkien believed that the act of subcreation was a spiritual exercise. i feel the soul can be the most invisible to stretch, but it's easily the most important. the soul affects the mind, and the mind the body. make an unbreakable spirit filled with hope and you have become a force on your own.

i feel like the people on fedi are in need of escapism far more than anyone. when confronted by so many despairing truths, it is good to read the fantasies of man and rediscover through them the simple pleasures of life. i hope everyone remembers this and takes heart, and doesn't let the indulgences of the masses spoil that exercise.

This is interesting. Square is reporting big losses, and it's no surprise. They were excited about FF16's sales on the first week, but it plummeted 90% afterwards. It was not the system seller Sony/SQE thought it would be, and they had to fight Microsoft in court.

Microsoft gave up the console wars (Xbox is technically doing worse than PS), but Microsoft is now getting GamePass on pretty much everything. Sony does not have anything over MS nor Nintendo.
