I have been slacking a little bit recently, only doing like one lesson a day, but I'm still going!

@Anonsfw The Free Software Foundation is not happy with me -- that's okay, I'll still keep using that garbage

hrm. maybe i'll write music again. it took me 6 years to release my last EP and i only finished it because of that cyberpunk music contest. that was 2 years ago. i've just been in a bit of a slump when it comes to writing music because i performed so much. i've been feeling the itch recently though. i've got some song ideas already written down that i've come up with these past two years, just haven't actually gotten anything solid.

i can't remember who showed me this song, but it was somebody on fedi. it's about europe, but it works for the US very well too. very evocative. give it a listen, i like it.

rome - who only europe know.

so normally, a protest means you're trying to push for a change for something to get done. i'm not really sure that the protest actually will do anything. it seems a lot less like a protest and a lot more like an excuse to complain and whine about the person the majority of the country voted doing the things they voted him in to do. the machine is already working overtime to try and block trump from doing anything at every point. it would be one thing if trump was actually a tyrant, but he's obviously not and people who think he is are living in a self-victimizing fantasy land because that's the only way they can feel anything anymore. i just don't know what they want the outcome of these protests to actually be.
