In Starship Troopers, sometimes humanity's decisions are stupid, but they actually are trying their best to win and survive. In Helldivers there's a lot of dumb shit going on that gets people killed for no reason, although you're still a walking nuke.

The fundamental issue with these critiques is that a reasonable person in their place would have zero alternatives other than to do what is being presented, and so to whine and bitch about it is just to be cowardly.
