Made a scene and a variation and couldn't decide which one to post, so i'm posting both.

@hideki very cool! How did you do the “hairs”? Geometry nodes? Hair simulation?

@ademan Thanks, they're just simple hair particles, my computer is kinda old and does not support the blender version that comes with geometry nodes.

@coyote thanks bro, even if the scenes are very simple, i'm trying to add as much detail as i can, being in textures or something else.

The first one has better angle and it hides the wayer quality much better.

@LukeAlmighty i guess the first one helps that it has less lighting and the lack of quality hides better haha

The world has a lot of flat lighting. otherwise we would miss half of people's faces all the time :blobcamera:

Lmao for a moment I thought it was an actual photo, the only thing that tipped me off is the log's textures on the first pic

@Xeraser yea should have used a different texture but it's hard to find good rough wood textures, sad!

It looks a lot better in the second pic but it might be down to the lighting

quixel has quite a bit of really fucking good free stuff if you need it, idk if you can use it with blender tho
