fascinating (and gorgeous!) chart showing the evolution of recorded-music revenue over the last 50 years

the first thing that jumps out at me is how much smaller the overall pie is post-streaming. the streaming services and major labels have successfully managed a) to dramatically devalue recorded music and b) to put a much larger percentage of it directly into their own pockets. it's one of the single biggest upward transfers of wealth in history — from artists to billionaire corporations

@beardalaxy Prescott Games sounds like something that would publish Bible-themed shovelware

After Midnight is much better

@solidsanek it's pretty old; I know Stardew Valley got into trouble for that, and Skullgirls long before they cucked

@coolboymew @Moon I think Robinson's Requiem does this, but this is an obscure old voxel game

it's just really cool I think and also the player can become blind if a birb claws your eyes out or you can lose a limb or hurt a leg and this affects movement greatly :ayaya:

also Project Zomboid has the option to play as a deaf and/or blind character

@LukeAlmighty he is

you can stop him; and I think you *must* stop him, but you can choose between giving him a stern warning and flat out fining him
