I've been playing Mystia's Izakaya a bit, and by "a bit" I mean for several days straight, neglecting chores and eating myself

the gameplay loop is incredibly fun, the art is gorgeous, the music is top notch, the story is legit iyashikei material

the only really suspicious dark spot on all this feast is the translation, which shows telltale signs of localizing, but I can't say for sure + the game is originally in Chinese, so even Japanese lessons don't help

but the game is still a delight, especially if you're a 2hu appreciator :thumbsupkonata:

The racial slur of the day is Rad.

It is used to refer to Russians.

Deep lore: US army personnel use this as a short version of "comrade" in reference to communism

i tried Tekken 8 demo
it was a mistake because the gameplay was really good
too bad I hate literally everything else about this game

Proposing a new term to complete the set of visual element paraphilias.

Ornaphilia - attraction to patterns and ornaments.

The main flag is meant to be reminiscent of pottery in color, but the colors can be changed to match the particular pattern, and the pattern itself can be placed in the triangle.

Below are the main flag, a transparent template to make it easier to make own version, and a couple of examples.

The racial slur of the day is Mojo.

It is used to refer to Hispanics.

Deep lore: Normally used among Hispanics towards other Hispanics. "Mojo" derives from "mojado" meaning "wet" i.e. wet-backs. Mojados are Mexican citizens while pochos are Mexican-Americans.
