Stuff can range from things like tools, buildings, property, or other assets used in production.

Money is just a representation of value that can be exchanged for something else, whether that be an item or service.

Labor Vouchers are a form of money in my opinion, though they work slightly differently than let's say USD, but ultimately the idea behind them is to exchange them for something of actual value.

If they are too kind, if they folow the rules and don't cheat the system, the more oppressive ones will outcompete and buy them or destroy their businesses

The nature of capitalism is a competitive market and it's the nature of competition for there to have a "winner"
The only way to avoid monopolisation is to avoid there being a "winner" of the competition is for there to not be a competition, but coexistence with other businesses instead of a need to grow ever larger, don't you agree?

I'm not really concerned with monopolies if you have a strong government that is willing to use force to make sure they ultimately serve greater society. I also think that the government should directly control certain sectors in their entirety a la nationalization. Sectors such as energy and natural resource exploitation would be among them to ensure environmental friendliness.
